How it works

Four stages, from your first message to follow-up

  1. 01 You

You tell us about your situation

A few details: your current permit, your canton, the step you have in mind.
  2. 02 The firm

    Assessment

We examine the legal requirements that apply to you and send you a written proposal with the flat fee.
  3. 03 You and the firm

    File and filing

We draw up the list of documents for your canton, draft the application and file it with the authority.
  4. 04 The authorities

    Follow-up until the decision

We follow the file and answer the authority's requests. The decision rests with the authority.

Your contract

What you can expect from us

  • The contract is concluded with you, and you may revoke it at any time (Art. 404 CO), services already performed remaining due
  • The flat fee is confirmed in writing before any commitment; payment follows the accepted proposal
  • No fee depends on the outcome of the procedure

Limits of the engagement

The decision rests with the authorities

Are you an employer who wishes to support an employee's family? The Permits and family page is meant for you. A student permit, residence without gainful activity or naturalisation? See Other residence permits and naturalisation.

The first step

Tell us about your situation

A few details are enough to know which step fits and which flat fee applies. We reply with a written proposal.
